Neolithica
Information and links relating to the video game I'm making, thus far called Neolithica.

Neolithica
It's a game I'm making. I'm working with a variety of c++ source packages to make what I've been considering for a long time: a 3-d interactive stone-age game. Um. Cave men. Discovering fire. Smashing rocks. Starting civilization...that sort of thing. Here is a list of some of the tools I'm using:
  • The Ogre SDK
"Object-oriented Graphics Rendering Engine" for c++ and others, I suppose...I like it! It's all open source, and works well with OpenGL...I'm gonna love working with this graphics engine.
  • Crazy Eddie's GUI System
Um...I still have a lot of problems implementing this thing, but it's what I'm using. Actually not yet, but soon. Maybe. Maybe I'll just use all-3d Ogre menus. I dunno.
  • Creative Labs OpenAL
I guess Creative Labs had enough success back in the 90's that they wanted to give something back. Here it is. A complete 3d sound library. Hooray!
  • Blender 3d | 中文
A fully featured, free 3d program. Scripts, Particles/Emitters, Skeletons, way more than I can comprehend.
So the idea isn't very original, I know. Ugh, so who cares? I will make the game I want to play and hopefully some other people will want to, too. Visit the site soon for more screenshots and concepts...no guarantee that it works, but here you can find the latest install package as a self-extracting .rar file:
